Interior Concept & Spatial Design (3D)
2018
An interior concept developed for Lammi Kivitalot’s Valo house model, translating architecture, light and material into a cohesive spatial vision.
“Valo 1”
Concept
An interior concept developed for Lammi Kivitalot’s Valo house model, designed by architect Katja Jämsä.
The project focused on creating a complete spatial concept for a contemporary single-level home, defining atmosphere through material choices, kitchen design and lighting. The architecture is characterised by large window surfaces and an open-plan layout, where natural light becomes a central element of the design.
The concept explores contrast between raw and refined elements — combining microcement flooring and dark stone surfaces with softer tones and tactile materials. A restrained palette of warm beige, brown and soft pink is layered with sculptural furniture and rounded forms, bringing softness into the linear architecture. Chrome details introduce a sharper visual edge, creating tension within the otherwise calm composition.
Developed as a 3D visualised concept, the project presents a cohesive and atmospheric interior shaped through material, light and proportion.
