Spatial Installation

2026

Current Home

A personal spatial installation exploring material contrast, colour identity and sculptural elements within an existing architectural framework.

Case

This project reinterprets a rental apartment as a fully realised spatial concept, where the home is approached as a composed visual environment rather than a conventional living space. The existing architecture — defined by a stainless steel kitchen and white flooring — acts as a neutral base for a layered and controlled material dialogue.

The interior is built through the interaction of chrome, textiles and deep tonal accents, forming a distinct and immersive atmosphere. A custom curtain installation within the sleeping alcove introduces a sculptural element, transforming the space into a defined spatial feature that adds softness, depth and enclosure.

Deep red tones act as a recurring visual identity throughout the space, contrasted against a restrained palette. Custom-designed furniture, including a bold red cabinet, reinforces the composition, while vintage pieces and collected objects introduce temporal layering.
