“Collector’s eye”

Art-directed editorial photoshoot for Bo Living.

Collector’s Eye is a part of an ongoing editorial series conceived for Bo Living magazine, with each issue introducing a new concept, location and curated selection of objects.

Concept

Collector’s Eye explores how meaningful, personal interiors evolve through considered choices, visual memory and confidence in one's own aesthetic vision.

Developed around the perspective of a collector, the editorial brings together furniture, vintage finds, art objects and textiles from different eras to create carefully curated compositions. Unexpected combinations, contrasts in materials and proportions, and the deliberate use of negative space allow individual pieces to stand out while forming a cohesive visual narrative.

The project was developed from initial concept and location sourcing through collaboration partnerships, spatial styling and on-set art direction. The editorial narrative was further developed through three themes — Visual Memory, Space and Personal Vision — connecting the imagery with the accompanying written content.
